Responsibilities
Apply advanced engineering techniques and analyses for problems and methods.
Expand knowledge and skill set in area of discipline.
Prepare a variety of complex engineering deliverables for larger or multiple projects.
Manage assigned budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
Review lower level engineering work or assignments.
Actively coordinate with all other internal/external team members on moderately complex projects.
Provides support to business development or pursuit activities and may offer other services to clients.
Requirements
Valid PE license
Experience with the design of utility-scale electrical substations
Structural design of electrical substation steel structures and their foundations
Basic structural steel and concrete experience using 3D analysis and design software such as RISA 3D or STAAD Pro
Basic foundation design experience using analysis and design software such as L-Pile and RISA Foundation, SP-Mats, and SP-Col
Solid experience using EXCEL or similar spreadsheets and MathCAD design templates
Intermediate knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards related to assigned engineering discipline
