Responsibilities
Coordinate with key stakeholders and compose internal employee communications for corporate departments such as IT, HR, and Organizational Development
Craft communication plans about internal initiatives for a variety of audiences
Maintain internal communications calendar
Translate high-tech talk into conversational English that fellow employees can understand
Present to and/or train small to large audiences online and in person about IT changes or updated software, like Cybersecurity and ChatGPT
Assist with content creation for internal webpages
Develop dynamic IT onboarding information for new employees
Build brand-aligned PowerPoint presentations for IT initiatives and meetings
Create and improve Phishing simulations and cybersecurity awareness education
Act as a vital liaison between KM and other shared service functions to initiate and improve direct lines of communication regarding future short-term needs and major projects
Understand the highest value tasks for the KM team, how those tasks fit within the overall project schedule, and implement solutions within challenging deadlines
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, English or other related fields
2+ years’ experience in communications or equivalent experience
You possess strong writing, editing, proofreading, skills with AP style knowledge
SharePoint, Confluence and JIRA experience a plus
Ability to speak with clarity and confidence and translate technical and/or complex information into messages that can be easily understood regardless of the audience.
Possess strong communication and relational skills with the ability to build trust and integrity in your relationships with our business partners.
