Corporate Communications Specialist responsible for creating and distributing multichannel communications. Engaging employees and managing projects in a hybrid role based in McKinney, Texas.
Responsibilities
Act as liaison between the Corporate Communications team and internal stakeholders to coordinate, develop, and execute communications strategy to achieve goals.
Manage content for assigned Marketing channels, suggesting strategic changes and areas for improvement.
Maintain and update detailed content schedule (weekly, monthly, and yearly) for stakeholders and coordinate with the Corporate Communications team.
Collaborate with other Marketing Department team members and management to align messaging and communication goals.
Implement feedback and apply as needed to future assignments.
Manage, research, and develop campaigns to align with best practices.
Adhere to and enforce the style guide and brand guidelines to ensure materials are consistent, accurate, and timely.
Contribute to and/or oversee special projects as assigned.
Requirements
B.A. in Communications, Digital Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or other relevant degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years of relevant work experience.
Strong project management, copywriting, content development, proofreading, employee engagement, and research skills required.
Working knowledge of project management and proofing tools.
Experience developing clear, concise copy that aligns with brand voice and tone.
Experience with M365 and PC operating systems.
Ability to manage multiple revision cycles and incorporate feedback while maintaining project timelines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with teams across multiple levels.
Workfront, Workday, Airtable, Canva, SnapComms, and Intranet platforms experience a plus.
Ability to be a creative thinker and self-starter with excellent attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
Flexible and able to switch focus to different projects when business demands change.
Ability to prioritize, communicate progress, and deliver projects on time.
Ability to autonomously investigate/research information needed for projects.
