Undergraduate Multimedia Intern producing audio and video content for ACLU’s Communications Department. Supporting podcast production, video editing, and research tasks in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
The Multimedia intern is an integral member of the team, assisting with production of the ACLU’s in-house podcast as well as videos.
Interns will conduct research, draft scripts and paper edits, transcribe and review interview footage, edit videos, assist on shoots and interviews, and participate in brainstorms and meetings.
Work closely with producer and hosts of ACLU’s in-house podcast and pitch topics and provide background research for each episode.
Manage and edit podcast taping transcripts and prepare publish packaging for podcast episodes.
Research video topics, draft scripts, review and transcribe video footage.
Requirements
Demonstrated interest in audio storytelling, journalism, and video production
Excellent writing and research skills
Experience with audio and video editing and experience working in an editorial environment preferred
Able to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize
