About the role

  • Lead the design process: Own and drive the end-to-end design process, from user research, through to designs, testing and the successful implementation of designs.
  • User research and discovery: Conduct comprehensive user research, including interviews, workshops, surveys, and competitor analysis, to build a deep understanding of our users' workflows, goals, and pain points.
  • Ideation and collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ideate and translate business requirements and user insights into tangible design concepts, user flows, and journey maps.
  • Design and prototype: Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes, leveraging our design system to maintain consistency and scalability.
  • Test and iterate: Plan and facilitate usability testing to gather qualitative feedback, validate designs, and iterate solutions to continuously improve our user experience.
  • Champion our customers: Act as the voice of the user within our teams, ensuring their needs are at the heart of the product development process. Foster a culture of design excellence within the organisation.
  • Think Hometrack first: Create alignment across product designs, user journeys and teams to ensure a consistent experience and design philosophy between products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Designer in a SaaS/B2B environment, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Figma is essential, with experience leveraging design systems to streamline the design process and ensure consistency across products.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
