- Familiarity with process monitoring systems and integration with machine tools, including sensors and software
- Programming skills in C, C++, C#, JavaScript, Python, or equivalent languages are desirable
- Knowledge and experience in manufacturing, machine tool engineering, and cutting tools is desirable
- Experience and capability in laboratory testing and experimental analysis to evaluate technical solutions
- Ability to apply statistical and other mathematical tools, including design of experiments
- Project and team leadership skills
- Communication skills in English and German
