About the role
- Responsible for managing aviation purchasing and repairs while maintaining strong supplier relationships in Brazil. Ensure procedural compliance and monitor supplier performance in the aerospace supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Ensure delivery of purchased aviation products and repair services with national and international suppliers;
- Monitor and resolve procedural discrepancies in the delivery process, including financial issues, purchase orders, logistics, quarantine/stock;
- Reduce items held in quarantine at distribution centers and freight agents;
- Monitor supplier performance (aircraft OEMs, component OEMs, distributors and maintenance shops);
- Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain;
- Align strategies and actions with related departments;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (material planning, tooling, hangars, distribution center) and external suppliers;
- Analyze, review and align service priority needs with the Materials/Inventory Planning team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree completed;
- Strong ability to work in a team, with the need to build and maintain good relationships with internal stakeholders;
- Good verbal and written communication skills, and active listening;
- Organized, analytical, with experience/knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables);
- Advanced English required (reading, writing and speaking);
- Flexibility to travel and work at different bases such as VCP and PLU (Campinas, Pampulha);
- Experience with aviation, tooling and materials, or another related segment.
