About the role
- Operativer Einkäufer managing supplier relationships and purchasing processes. Seeking a candidate to take on strategic responsibilities and improve procurement processes.
Responsibilities
- Independently create and follow up purchase orders and monitor delivery dates while optimizing inventory levels
- Continuously maintain and optimize material and vendor master data in SAP
- Support the design and implementation of optimized procurement processes, taking relevant interfaces into account
- Close collaboration with production planning, financial accounting and external suppliers
- Gradual assumption of responsibility for specific product groups
- Active involvement in and leadership of price and contract negotiations
- Develop and maintain long-term supplier relationships and conduct supplier evaluations
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training or a degree in Business Administration / Industrial Engineering
- Several years of experience in operational purchasing, ideally in an industrial environment
- Solid practical experience in SAP (MM) is essential; confident user of MS Office (especially Excel)
- You work in a structured way, are assertive and have a strong hands-on mentality
- Business-fluent (negotiation-level) German and good English skills
