Responsibilities
- The Category Manager supports the Sr. Category Manager in managing and optimizing the product category’s performance.
- Responsible for the setup of product specifications for Finishworx, Groundworx, and Careworx.
- Work closely with various teams, including marketing, sales, sourcing, samples and supply chain, as well as suppliers to ensure successful product launches.
- Establish and maintain all product specification information, ensuring accuracy of entry into databases.
- Work with cross-functional partners to ensure timely execution of product launches.
- Maintain the stage-gate process to ensure approvals and setup of products.
Requirements
- College degree is preferred; High School Diploma is required.
- Minimum (2) years of flooring experience is required.
- Effective communication skills both verbally and written.
- Ability to utilize relevant technology - proficiency in M365, TTR, Vista, PeopleSoft, EBX, Tableau, Microsoft BI, Widen, PDMS, Salesforce, Fusion.
- Proven ability to deal professionally and confidently daily while building collaborative relationships with internal and external partners at various levels.
- Must possess strong organizational skills, take initiative, ownership, and accountability with the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and honor commitments.
- Ability to think through problems to identify root cause issues and resolutions.
