About the role
- Responsible for the patching, monitoring, user administration, and maintenance of MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL database servers
- Play a key part in problem determination and resolution, supporting internal customers, and ensuring all configurations align with company standards
Requirements
- Strong experience with MySQL, including patching, monitoring, user administration, troubleshooting, and customer support
- Solid Linux operating system skills
- Experience with Oracle Database Server, including patching, user administration - 2+ years
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, including patching and monitoring
- English language proficiency (both spoken and written) is mandatory for the role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and documentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science is a plus. 5+ years of related experience desired.
