Requirements
- Proven experience (15+) as a Mainframe Modernization Solution Architect or a similar role
- Leading architecture and design activities in legacy modernization projects such as IT Re-architecture, Business Re-architecture, Re-hosting, Re-engineering, Re-platforming, Business Rules Extraction etc.
- Solid understanding of legacy systems and modernization approaches, methodologies and best practices
- Strong knowledge of modern technologies, platforms and frameworks with the ability to select and recommend appropriate solutions
- Experience in system integration, data migration and performance optimization in legacy modernization projects
- Experience on mainframe technologies such as COBOL, Assembler, PL/1, JCL, VSAM, CICS, DB2, RPG, CL, DB2/400, etc.
- Experience in On-Mainframe modernization
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design and troubleshoot complex system architectures
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices
- Familiarity with security and compliance requirements in software systems
- Working knowledge and understanding of Cloud environment (AWS/Azure/Google)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment
