About the role

  • Find, screen, and research potential customers to match PROS software solutions to their needs
  • Serve as first line of communication with prospects; discover and qualify sales opportunities
  • Nurture and develop early-stage funnel and relationships with the buying group at target accounts
  • Work inbound marketing inquiries and conduct outbound outreach to target accounts
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage Executive Account Managers (EAM) for next steps
  • Generate opportunities and set up meetings or calls between prospects and sales executives
  • Build and sustain relationships with different personas across the buying group via phone, email, and social channels
  • Identify best practices and provide feedback to refine lead targeting and approach
  • Leverage sales technology and marketing tools for personalized and tailored outreach
  • Grow product and industry knowledge for personal and professional growth
  • Report to Manager of inside sales team and work closely with Executive Account Managers

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of experience working in a similar role for an enterprise corporation selling business-critical applications
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and sales technology including Salesforce.com
  • Proven sales expertise in B2B phone sales/lead nurturing for SaaS-based technology solution providers
  • Experience in cold calling, building a pipeline, and executive client relationship building
  • Self-starter, resourceful, and problem-solver
  • Industry knowledge and/or experience in target industries (manufacturing, distribution, travel, transportation, logistics, energy)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to connect with and persuade senior-level decision-makers
  • Storytelling ability and strong value-proposition delivery
  • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
  • Maturity in uncertainty and adaptability in a fast-paced, high-growth atmosphere
  • AI Literacy (highly preferred): understanding of core AI concepts and practical applications
  • Prompt Engineering (highly preferred)
  • Agentic AI (highly preferred): experience building, utilizing, or managing autonomous agents
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (highly preferred)
  • SaaS experience is a plus
