About the role

  • Develop and execute outbound sales strategies to identify, qualify, and reach potential merchants in the SME sector
  • Proactively source and approach high-potential leads
  • Manage the entire sales pipeline from initial outreach to closing
  • Build and maintain relationships with key strategic partners
  • Handle inbound leads within your assigned region and tier
  • Lead new merchants through the onboarding process
  • Gather feedback on merchant needs, market trends, and competitive insights

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a strong emphasis on proactive outbound strategies
  • preferably within the online payments industry
  • exceptional pipeline management skills
  • the ability to accurately forecast and report on sales performance
  • a master of consultative selling
  • a self-starter who thrives in a high-growth, "scale-up" environment
  • strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
