About the role

Responsibilities
- Manage Solar Self Power projects to meet scope, schedule, safety, environment, quality and financial objectives of each project predictably and competitively.
- Understanding and optimally using project management systems and strong, principled project management practices.
- Accountable for all aspects of assigned power project execution, including construction, safety, cost, schedule, and quality.
- Facilitate interaction and coordination of various internal project partners.
- Assure effective scope management is implemented.
- Actively supervise project performance and take actions to correct adverse situations.
- Regularly report project status to stakeholders and management.
- Build relationships and collaborate with project stakeholders.
Requirements
- University degree, diploma, related construction, technical operations, project management training and/or experience specific to solar projects
- An electrical background is preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible related working experience in the pipeline, solar or electrical utility industry, preferably with 5 or more years related to project management
- Engineering degree and Professional Engineering designation is an asset.
- Solid understanding of project management methods and techniques; with PMP certification or equivalent
