About the role

Responsibilities

Requirements
- Solid experience of delivering complex projects within the UK rail industry sector.
- Subject matter expertise in retail / digital ticketing / customer propositions.
- Experience of work on technology / software implementations.
- Managing project scope and changes.
- Preparing estimates and a detailed project plan for all phases of the project.
- Procuring adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes.
- Managing project budgets and cost control experience.
- Managing risk, understanding the risk context and demonstrating a range of risk techniques.
- Experience in dealing with and managing external resource, including third party contracts and procurement.
- Managing ongoing quality control and participating in quality issue resolution.
- Managing all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure an overall programme is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives.
- Understanding interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs.
- Highly experienced in planning, reporting and stakeholder management.
- Extensive understanding of project and programme management principles, methods and processes.
