About the role
- Oversees the day to day project activities of complex projects of a tactical nature.
- Ensures project control procedures and policies are adhered to as per CIBC’s project performance standards.
- Provides status updates and progress reports to project stakeholders to manage expectations related to scope and timeline constraints.
- Acts as business liaison partner with business sponsor and stakeholders to develop the business case and provide input on tactical direction.
- Participates in vendor evaluation and selection process by providing recommendations based on subject matter expertise.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in Business Case Justification with clear knowledge of justifying a project by identifying cost, benefits, opportunities and threats.
- Preferred PMP designation or equivalent work experience.
- Familiar with the process for evaluation and selection of products, tools, services and infrastructure components in line with organization’s business needs and architectural principles.
