About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end inbound & outbound transportation operations across all modes, including parcel, LTL, truckload and intermodal.
- Manage daily freight execution and exception resolution to ensure on-time, in-full delivery performance.
- Develop and maintain routing guides, mode strategies, and capacity plans aligned with seasonal demand and business priorities.
- Own relationships with freight carriers, parcel providers, and third-party logistics partners.
- Lead RFPs, contract negotiations, and quarterly business reviews to ensure competitive rates and high service levels.
- Oversee transportation systems roadmap, partnering with IT and Operations to implement and enhance TMS functionality and ERP integrations.
- Collaborate with Finance to align freight spend reporting, GL coding, and monthly budget reconciliation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 10–12 years of experience in transportation or logistics management within high-volume distribution or wholesale environments.
- Strong knowledge of multi-modal transportation including TL, LTL, parcel, intermodal, and air freight.
- Proficient with transportation management systems (TMS), ERP, and other logistics technologies.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and transportation analytics.
- Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, APICS, DOT, IATA, or IMDG are a plus.
