About the role

  • Support and advise internal clients in developing procurement strategies and market analyses to optimize potential purchasing levers;
  • Manage and coordinate large-scale procurement projects: requests for information (RFI), requests for quotations (RFQ), and requests for proposals (RFP) in alignment with the business and operational priorities of the Cirque du Soleil Group;
  • Lead the tender process from requisition through supplier selection, negotiation, and contract execution;
  • Prepare and validate all documents related to the tender process (NDAs, templates, evaluation matrices, benchmarking analyses, recommendations, etc.);
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses of bids against predefined selection criteria established with the business units;
  • Handle sensitive files such as long-term contracts, cross-functional strategic or high-cost purchases, or purchases with high recurrence and volume;
  • Contribute to contract reviews and ensure agreements include all negotiated elements, either independently or with support from designated experts (corporate tax, insurance & risk, legal affairs);
  • Measure and document savings and performance indicators;
  • Ensure the proper implementation of and compliance with the Procurement policy at Head Office (exception procedures, signing and approval processes, etc.);
  • Support the Head of Corporate Procurement in developing procurement process tools and in training.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Law, Finance, or another relevant field;
  • Minimum of five years of relevant procurement experience, including at least three years managing tender processes;
  • Experience managing tender processes for the acquisition of technology solutions;
  • Ability to read and understand technical specifications and business requirements;
  • Exemplary professional ethics;
  • Ability to work in a constantly evolving environment, influence a multidisciplinary team, and collaborate effectively with team members;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently;
  • Strong negotiation skills;
  • Analytical ability and a strong attention to detail;
  • High degree of autonomy;
  • High proficiency in French and English and strong communication skills.
