Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic procurement processes and contracting of services and materials for infrastructure projects, civil works and technology;
  • Support the definition of contracting strategy, including scope, sourcing model, and technical and commercial criteria;
  • Execute competitive procurement processes, from vendor qualification and request for proposals (RFPs) to recommendation and formalization of contracts;
  • Draft, review and negotiate supply and service contracts in coordination with the Legal department;
  • Perform technical-commercial analyses of proposals, including comparative spreadsheets, TCO and risk assessments;
  • Conduct CAPEX and OPEX negotiations, including contract amendments, scope, schedule and price adjustments;
  • Monitor contract management during project execution, supporting internal stakeholders in resolving issues not solved by the Contract Manager;
  • Ensure compliance with governance policies, compliance requirements and internal standards in procurement processes;
  • Maintain ongoing engagement with internal clients, suppliers and partners to ensure alignment and smooth processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or related fields;
  • Experience in strategic procurement and contracting of services and materials, preferably in infrastructure projects, civil works and/or technology;
  • Knowledge of taxes and fiscal impacts related to service procurement and CAPEX;
  • Experience with CAPEX and OPEX contracting;
  • Experience conducting structured competitive procurement processes;
  • Experience negotiating and managing contracts, with interaction with the Legal department;
  • Knowledge of procurement systems and ERPs (SAP, Coupa or similar);
  • Knowledge of Strategic Sourcing, TCO, Cost Breakdown, Should-Cost and Reverse Auction;
  • Experience in regulated environments, large projects or concessions;
  • Intermediate English.
