Responsibilities

  • Process procurement transactions
  • Coordinate activities to meet business needs through purchasing strategies
  • Interpret and approve purchase transactions for proper coding and contract utilization
  • Acquire technical and specialized commodities and services
  • Provide training and guidance on procurement rule, policy, and procedure

Requirements

  • Experience in professional purchasing or procurement
  • Experience with data collection activities
  • Skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience providing written and verbal communication
  • Knowledge of data collection and analysis methods
  • Knowledge of basic management principles and practices
  • Ability to conduct fact-finding research
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
