About the role
- Senior Planning Analyst focused on supply chain optimization for Assaí Atacadista, a major Brazilian wholesale company. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve demand planning and supplier management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor demand, purchasing and inventory planning, ensuring alignment with company targets, supply performance, inventory balancing, and objective coverage levels.
- Collect, analyze and interpret performance data, producing efficiency, cost and lead-time indicators, and proposing continuous improvements.
- Identify bottlenecks, propose innovative solutions and implement improvements in supply chain processes.
- Evaluate and identify suppliers that contribute to stockouts, with the goal of monitoring service levels (Fill Rate, In Full, OTIF).
- Lead or participate in strategic projects for digital and cultural transformation, automation and innovation in the supply chain.
- Collaborate with areas such as distribution centers, commercial/sales, store operations, finance and technology to ensure alignment and execution of actions.
- Prepare management reports, dashboards and presentations for senior leadership, supporting data-driven decision making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Economics or related fields.
- Postgraduate degree or specializations in Supply Chain, Logistics or Project Management will be a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel, advanced Access and data analysis tools (Power BI, Power Query and MicroStrategy).
