About the role

  • manage deliverables to meet objectives related to asset inventory, internal controls, business process improvements, audit liaison and administrative support.
  • responsible for reviewing existing guidance and instructions, contributing to development of new guidance and Real Property approaches, assisting with development of training decks and tracking of comments and questions during training sessions, execution of controls testing, and tracking of milestones for existing corrective actions.
  • responsible for participating and actively listening in meetings with client stakeholders to understand organization requirements and business operations, and documenting meeting minutes with an emphasis on action items for the management team.

Requirements

  • 10 years federal or commercial experience in property management consulting and/or business process improvement (BPI) related activities, managing 25 resources within military real property and equipment and/or IRM and projects and services.
  • 15 years experience with technical and/or professional writing, portraying an ability to independently conduct background research, structure written work products, and articulate an approach or recommendations.
  • 15 years experience developing reports, briefing materials, and training in Microsoft PowerPoint, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and developing visualizations and/or graphs to highlight key data.
  • 10 Experience supporting audit meeting facilitation and scheduling.
  • Proficiency in project management skills to include: managing individual tasks to meet project milestones, analyzing task lists to provide appropriate progress and status updates, independently researching topics to gather knowledge and improve understanding.
  • 15 years professional experience working in teams, demonstrating interpersonal skills, team-building capabilities, critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, Visio).
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple tasking, while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to perform a broad range of tasks from high-level strategy creation to administrative duties (e.g., capturing meeting minutes and attendee lists).
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
  • Located in the National Capital Region (NCR).
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain clearance.
