About the role

  • Sales Engineer managing the acquisition of new customers and market segments for tailored security systems. Collaborating with customers on concept development and presentations at industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for consistently developing new customers and market segments for professional, tailored security system solutions
  • Proactively acquire new customers and handle tender processes (RFPs)
  • Advise customers on the development of concepts and solutions
  • Present and explain our product and service portfolio at customer meetings, trade shows and exhibitions
  • Prepare proposal documents and presentations
  • Track inquiries and proposals and draft and process contracts (VOB/VOL)
  • Support project planning, implementation into technical solutions, commissioning and acceptance

Requirements

  • Technical or commercial vocational training or degree
  • Strong enthusiasm for working with customers
  • Experience in technical solution or systems sales in security technology or IT infrastructure
  • Strong communication skills
  • Independent, structured and results-oriented working style with a proactive mindset
  • Technical knowledge of network technology and security systems
  • Negotiation skills, team player, and a professional, customer-focused demeanor
  • Driver’s license and willingness to travel
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Business-fluent German
