Motivate and drive a team of Medicare Sales Field Agents who sell individual health plan products and educate beneficiaries in a field setting
Coach, mentor, educate, motivate and train a team of sales individuals
Sell Life, Annuity, Indemnity, Dental, Vision, Prescription plans, and more
Cultivate, maintain, and build relationships with Humana’s customers, internal and external business partners, and the community through telephonic, virtual, and face-to-face interactions
Develop marketing budgets and look for branding opportunities
Resolve operational problems and provide creative solutions to increase sales while following CMS guidelines
Be field based in the Nashville, Chattanooga, and Knoxville TN area and meet members face to face
Travel as needed (up to 50%) and occasionally visit Humana offices for training or meetings
Use technology tools and CRM platforms to support sales and reporting
Requirements
Must reside in the Nashville, TN area or be willing to relocate
Active Health & Life Insurance Licenses
2 or more years of sales leadership experience
6 or more years of experience working in the insurance industry
Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time
Ability to lead a team of sales associates and train them in successful sales techniques
Educational presentation skills
Utilizing technology tools as well as building relationships with communities and medical providers
Strong aptitude for technology with proficiency in MS Office products, various CRM platforms, and various iPhone app capabilities
Must be a strong leader, strong producer
Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Ability to adapt and overcome when necessary
Community Engagement/Grassroots experience in marketing Medicare plans in the community
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred: Prior experience working in Medicare and the health solutions industry
Preferred: Engaged with the community through service, organizations, activities and volunteerism
Preferred: Project management background or certification a plus
Preferred: Bilingual with the ability to speak, read and write without limitations or assistance
