About the role
- Senior Director, Procurement overseeing global indirect procurement in U.S., Canada, and Caribbean regions. Leading strategies and category management teams under Global Indirect Procurement framework.
Responsibilities
- Leads the U.S., Canada, and Caribbean region in the function of global indirect procurement
- Responsible for definition, development and implementation of the Hub strategy
- Establish and implement short/mid/long term sourcing plans
- Advocate and implement Global Functional Policies, Standards, Templates and Playbooks
- Lead Category Management Team and Local Procurement Operations
- Participate in the annual budgeting process and monthly performance reviews
- Act as Business Partner and promote procurement towards senior-level stakeholders
- In charge of NAM HUB Category Strategies for the Region-led and local vendors.
- Actively participate/own Transformational initiatives for HUB NAM.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Economics/Supply Chain; master’s degree is strongly preferred
- 12+ years of working experience in related field (supply chain, procurement, sourcing, operational excellence, etc.)
- 7 years of management experience
- Advanced negotiation skills and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with the application of procurement standards (Procurement policies, Standard Operating Procedures, etc.)
- Ability to work in an international business environment
- Proficient in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
- Understanding of procurement solutions, preferably SAP products.
