About the role

  • Own and manage QS India’s social media presence (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp Channel), focused on Gen Z and prospective student engagement
  • Create static and motion creatives, reels, and user-generated content tailored to the interests and preferences of student audiences in India
  • Collaborate with influencers and student creators to deliver relevant short-and long-form content
  • Support B2C and B2B campaigns and events that strengthen QS’s presence in India
  • Monitor, analyse, and optimise social media performance using tools like HubSpot and platform analytics
  • Engage and grow the community by responding to comments and messages across platforms
  • Develop digital marketing assets including ad copy, creatives, SMS, emails, and newsletters for lead generation and event promotions
  • Support the execution of outreach activities, including partnerships with colleges, schools, student communities, and education influencers
  • Assist in the promotion and coordination of online events such as webinars and live sessions
  • Stay informed about digital marketing trends and developments in the international education space
  • Support the marketing team with additional tasks as needed to ensure successful campaign delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in social media marketing
  • Hands-on experience in content marketing, focused on executing social media campaigns for consumer-facing or youth-focused brands
  • Proven ability to create engaging, platform-specific content using Canva or other design/video editing tools
  • Experience with AI tools is a plus
  • Skilled in developing content formats (text, images, videos) for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Telegram, WhatsApp Channel
  • Strong creative writing skills for ad copy, emailers, and social media content
  • Experience collaborating with social media influencers and student creators to create short- and long-form content
  • Comfortable using HubSpot for reporting, lead tracking, and social media monitoring
  • Working knowledge of email and affiliate marketing
  • Experience engaging with student communities is a strong advantage
  • Background in Higher Education or Student Recruitment is a plus
  • Proactive, confident team player who collaborates well across functions
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused with strong execution skills
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities; able to meet tight deadlines consistently
  • Comfortable travelling when required to support events
