About the role

  • Confident communication with our clients, consumers and third parties (e.g., lawyers) via email, chat and letter, providing solution-oriented and professional handling of inquiries
  • Responding to inbound calls as well as actively conducting outbound contact with clients and consumers and processing incoming correspondence from lawyers
  • Handling complex legal issues, such as inquiries from debtor counseling centers and legal guardians, the Chamber of Labour, data protection requests and criminal complaints
  • Serving as an experienced point of contact for colleagues, clients and consumers on technically complex and legal matters
  • Economically efficient handling of case files and maintenance of CRM systems
  • Collecting feedback from clients and consumers and supporting improvements to our technology and service
  • Further developing internal processes and structures to strengthen the team (e.g., onboarding new employees, improving internal training materials, supporting the onboarding of new clients)

Requirements

  • Several years (3+ years) of relevant experience in telephone B2C customer service, specifically in debt collection/accounts receivable management
  • Strong service mentality and an eloquent, solution-oriented communication style
  • Structured and independent working approach and a high sense of responsibility
  • Experience working with international teams and knowledge of debt collection law are each a strong plus
  • Fluent German and very good English are required; knowledge of an additional European language is a plus
  • Good MS Office skills and an interest in technology
