Sales Coach responsible for training customer advisors in sales skills at a leading telecommunications company. Focused on continuous improvement and individual development within an international team.
About the role
- Deliver comprehensive new hire and advanced sales training programs via in-person (field) and virtual formats
- Provide 1:1 coaching and feedback to sales representatives to enhance performance and skills
- Support Regional/Area Sales Managers in developing coaching capabilities
- Assess training needs for the Japanese market, update curriculum, and design localized training plans
- Lead planning and execution of training-related sales meetings and contribute to global events
- Support onboarding, product launches, and other sales enablement initiatives
- Partner with global training team to manage and localize content in the company Learning Management System (LMS)
- Create, update, and maintain training materials (PowerPoint, LMS content, e-learning)
- Manage training-related vendor relationships and oversee training budgets and resources for Japan
- Collaborate with Japan sales leaders and cross-functional teams to align training with business strategy

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales training and program design within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry
- 医療機器または製薬業界での営業研修・教育経験(5年以上)
- Field training / フィールドでの営業同行・コーチング経験
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English / 日本語・英語での高いコミュニケーションスキル(ビジネスレベル)
- Experience creating training materials (PowerPoint) and using LMS / トレーニング資材の作成経験(PowerPoint等)、LMS活用経験
- Familiarity with the Japanese healthcare market / 日本の医療市場に関する知見
- Certifications such as DISC, Situational Leadership, GROW Coaching are a plus / DISC、Situational Leadership、GROW Coaching等の認定資格歓迎
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong coaching and facilitation skills and understanding of adult learning principles
- Flexible availability to work evenings or weekends when needed
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, primarily within Japan
