About the role

  • Achieve or exceed sales targets of products with the appropriate sales mix.
  • Achieve sales objectives by achieving reach & frequency targets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key personnel within the pharmacy.
  • Develop territory plans to support your business plan.
  • Ensure timely and effective implementation of programmed sales activity in accounts and banner groups on territory.
  • Develop and monitor LAM investments across individual territory and ensure that ROI for iNova is delivered at appropriate levels.
  • Report and present on sales, activity and territory performance as required by the Company.
  • Ensure all activities comply with legal and ethical standards as well as Company policies.
  • Promote the range of iNova Pharmaceuticals, products as described in the OTC Cycle Plans.
  • Provide in-store education of product range and group training where possible.
  • Manage personal expenses within specified guidelines.

Requirements

  • Sales experience in pharmaceuticals, consumer health care or FMCG.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business / Science or similar will be highly regarded.
  • Previous sales experience and an excellent understanding of the sales process.
  • Demonstrated behaviour that could be replicated in a face to face selling environment.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities at the one time.
  • Ability to prepare & present professionally for key meetings and presentations.
  • Solid negotiation skills and the ability to influence others with fact based arguments.
  • Ability to analyse data/market information and to draw actionable conclusions from the analysis.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Ability to cultivate relationships throughout an organisation (internal/external).
  • Competent computer skills, including use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Current Driver’s Licence is essential.
