About the role

  • Sales Manager responsible for brand partnerships and revenue growth at JioBlast, leading commercial strategies in esports industry.

Responsibilities

  • Own the sales process: Prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close brand sponsorships for esports IPs, tournaments, and content series
  • Work independently on identified opportunities, while collaborating closely with the Commercial Team leader and wider team on major deals
  • Build brand relationships: Cultivate a strong personal network with Indian brands, agencies, and marketing decision-makers
  • Package & pitch: Build compelling decks and proposals tailored to each brand’s objectives and aligned with the IP's format and fanbase
  • Support rights development: Contribute to the shaping of commercial rights (what’s being sold, how it’s packaged) to ensure we’re selling what the market wants and designing IPs in a commercially savvy way.
  • Track performance: Maintain a strong pipeline and report progress on revenue targets, deal flow, and lead conversion

Requirements

  • 4–6 years in brand partnerships, media sales, sponsorship sales, or related commercial roles
  • Experience working with or selling to Indian brands and agencies, ideally in sports, entertainment, media, or digital content
  • Proven track record of closing mid-to-high value deals and maintaining long-term client relationship.
  • Exposure to building sponsorship solutions from scratch or selling new IPs is a strong plus
  • Strong communicator and storyteller – able to pitch creatively and with confidence
  • Prior experience in gaming/esports is helpful but not essential – curiosity and adaptability are more important.
