About the role

  • Ensure Scania Bus & Coach specifications align with current type approval requirements
  • Collaborate with colleagues to navigate and resolve technical deviations
  • Offer clear, confident guidance on engineering solutions to dealer network, customers, and bodybuilders
  • Represent Scania at industry events and exhibitions
  • Provide insight and both technical and legislative support for new product introductions
  • Gather and submit market-led product development ideas
  • Support internal and external training with technical expertise

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a similar environment with strong technical knowledge
  • Capability to follow processes to secure vehicle approvals and bring projects to completion
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple moving parts and documentation
  • Confident communicator with regular verbal and written contact with colleagues, dealers, customers, and bodybuilders
  • Initiative and proactive problem-solving
  • Ability to represent Scania at industry events and exhibitions
  • Provide technical and legislative support for new product introductions
