Sales Engineer driving operational success at OTIV with bid management and deep collaboration across teams. Leading proposal preparation and competitive analysis to win new railway contracts.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and prepare proposals, ensuring they meet customer requirements and deadlines.
Work with sales, legal, and technical teams to gather necessary information and create compelling bids.
Lead the project management during the bid phase in close collaboration with the BD and Partnership manager.
Conduct competitive analysis to ensure our bids are well-positioned.
Assist in developing bid strategies that align with OTIV’s objectives.
Maintain organized bid documentation and ensure compliance with submission guidelines.
Suggest improvements to the bid process for increased efficiency and success.
Requirements
Degree in business administration, (industrial) engineering, or similar.
2+ years of experience in bid management or proposal development, ideally within B2B, tech, mobility, or industrial sectors.
Proven track record of preparing high-quality proposals and managing end-to-end bid processes, from the initial opportunity to final submission.
Strong ability to collaborate across departments to collect and integrate information into compelling proposals.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage workloads effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex technical content into clear and engaging proposals.
Fluency in English, Dutch and French. Any additional European language is a strong plus.
Interest in cutting-edge technology and the mobility/transportation industry.
