About the role

  • Sales Consultant on the Employee Health & Benefits team performing consultative selling to mid-market companies. Focus on developing a profitable book of business with existing clients and new client production.

Responsibilities

  • Perform consultative selling to mid-market companies.
  • Focus on the growth and development of a profitable book of business.
  • Assess and recommend appropriate Employee Health & Benefit services and solutions.
  • Ensure retention and satisfaction of existing clientele.
  • Generate new client production.

Requirements

  • Proven success in prospecting and outside B2B (business-to-business) selling.
  • Proven track record in being able to ask the right questions to foster credibility quickly while at the same time gaining a sense of how to best align our offerings with the client.
  • Experience in the midmarket - companies with (50 - 1000 employees).
  • Ability to partner with a variety of stakeholders, including C-Suite business partners.
  • Must be assertive - yet consultative.
  • BA/BS Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Life & Health License or ability to obtain within 90 days.
  • Prior industry experience strongly desirable.
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Suite and SalesForce a plus
