Responsibilities
Maintain and update the risk and control registers; follow up on recurring control tasks and remediation actions; ensure timely closure across operational and financial risk.
Contribute to the risk assessment of new products and services, ensuring risks are identified, documented, and integrated into the control framework.
Collect, reconcile, and automate risk data for management and regulatory reporting; design dashboards in Power BI; develop and maintain meaningful KRIs and reports.
Monitor and follow up operational risk events; escalate when necessary; support root-cause analysis and remediation tracking.
Keep risk documentation, procedures, and policies current, including vendor files, credit limits, and risk register updates.
Support risk workshops (RCSA, BIA, stress testing); engage with process owners; capture key results and ensure actions are followed through.
Prepare evidence packs for auditors and regulators; help design and execute financial and operational stress tests.
Contribute to new tool implementations, reporting automation, and strategic risk initiatives.
Requirements
A minimum of 1–3 years of experience in risk management, finance, banking/fintech, or data analytics.
Solid understanding of risk management practices (operational risk, incidents, controls, registers) with interest in broadening into financial and ICT risk.
Strong analytics & reporting skills with Excel and at least one BI platform (Power BI preferred).
Comfortable working with data: able to query and prepare datasets, and use scripting or coding (SQL, Python, R, or similar) to automate reporting and dashboards.
Organisational skills and attention to detail: capable of managing registers, recurring tasks, and follow-ups in a structured way.
Strong communication skills: able to work with process owners across the bank and ensure tasks are completed.
Curiosity and willingness to learn across multiple risk areas (operational, financial, ICT/cyber).
Business-level German (spoken) for daily interactions; English proficiency required for written documentation.
