About the role
- Support the implementation of HSE management systems across UK and Ireland operations
- Provide competent health and safety support to site management teams
- Act as a business partner to Business Unit Directors in identifying trends and driving improvements
- Act as ambassadors for a Culture of Trust through the roll out of campaigns and initiatives
- Support in the delivery of HSE training as and when required
- Coach colleagues on workplace inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations
- Facilitate serious accident investigations
Requirements
- Proven track record of delivering performance improvements in a fast-paced 3PL environment
- Experience of delivering change management through strong stakeholder relationships
- Comprehensive knowledge of ISO14001 and ISO45001 management processes, principles, and methodologies
- Ability to influence and engage with senior stakeholders and manage multiple priorities
- NEBOSH General Certification
- IOSH Professional Status
- Desirable: NEBOSH Diploma
- Desirable: Certified DGSA (Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor)
- Desirable: IEMA Foundation Certificate
- Desirable: Operational Management
- Desirable: Project Management
- Desirable: Advanced Excel Skills
