Responsibilities
- Oversee organization of all quality activities for assigned lines of business
- Ensure program milestone deliverables are completed and approved at every stage of project lifecycle
- Assist with the continuous improvement of program/project management best practices, processes, and tools
- Responsible for ensuring program closure activities are completed
- Support stakeholders in the refinement of program descriptions, program evaluations, and other appropriate governance documents
- Collaborate with business owners and sponsor on identification and assignment of business resources
- Work closely with business owners to ensure assigned programs align with business strategy
- Maintain program stakeholder matrix
- Drive cross-functional communication between impacted business and IT areas
- Facilitate and drive Program Stakeholder meetings
- Review and approve program meeting minutes
- Provide regular reporting and maintain ongoing communications to senior management, stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Track, compile and report program metrics
- Identify, log, and manage risk, implement mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and communicate/escalate to stakeholders
- Identify, log, assign and resolve or escalate program issues, hindrances, and blockers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Business, Clinical, Public Health or related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience in project or program management required
- Experience using the model for improvement (PDSA-Plan, Do, Study, Act) is preferred
- Previous healthcare, managed care or quality improvement experience is preferred
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Teams, Outlook, etc.
- Experience working in project management software is required
