Quality Program Manager overseeing quality activities for assigned business lines. Collaborating across teams to ensure program milestones and quality improvements are met in the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities
Oversee organization of all quality activities for assigned lines of business
Ensure program milestone deliverables are completed and approved at every stage of project lifecycle
Assist with the continuous improvement of program/project management best practices, processes, and tools
Responsible for ensuring program closure activities are completed
Support stakeholders in the refinement of program descriptions, program evaluations, and other appropriate governance documents
Collaborate with business owners and sponsor on identification and assignment of business resources
Work closely with business owners to ensure assigned programs align with business strategy
Maintain program stakeholder matrix
Drive cross-functional communication between impacted business and IT areas
Facilitate and drive Program Stakeholder meetings
Review and approve program meeting minutes
Provide regular reporting and maintain ongoing communications to senior management, stakeholders and executive sponsors
Track, compile and report program metrics
Identify, log, and manage risk, implement mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and communicate/escalate to stakeholders
Identify, log, assign and resolve or escalate program issues, hindrances, and blockers
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Business, Clinical, Public Health or related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience in project or program management required
Experience using the model for improvement (PDSA-Plan, Do, Study, Act) is preferred
Previous healthcare, managed care or quality improvement experience is preferred
Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Teams, Outlook, etc.
Experience working in project management software is required
