About the role

  • Quality Program Manager overseeing quality activities for assigned business lines. Collaborating across teams to ensure program milestones and quality improvements are met in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee organization of all quality activities for assigned lines of business
  • Ensure program milestone deliverables are completed and approved at every stage of project lifecycle
  • Assist with the continuous improvement of program/project management best practices, processes, and tools
  • Responsible for ensuring program closure activities are completed
  • Support stakeholders in the refinement of program descriptions, program evaluations, and other appropriate governance documents
  • Collaborate with business owners and sponsor on identification and assignment of business resources
  • Work closely with business owners to ensure assigned programs align with business strategy
  • Maintain program stakeholder matrix
  • Drive cross-functional communication between impacted business and IT areas
  • Facilitate and drive Program Stakeholder meetings
  • Review and approve program meeting minutes
  • Provide regular reporting and maintain ongoing communications to senior management, stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Track, compile and report program metrics
  • Identify, log, and manage risk, implement mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and communicate/escalate to stakeholders
  • Identify, log, assign and resolve or escalate program issues, hindrances, and blockers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Business, Clinical, Public Health or related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience in project or program management required
  • Experience using the model for improvement (PDSA-Plan, Do, Study, Act) is preferred
  • Previous healthcare, managed care or quality improvement experience is preferred
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Teams, Outlook, etc.
  • Experience working in project management software is required
