About the role

  • Project Manager overseeing electric utility construction projects from planning to completion. Focused on safety, budgeting, and collaboration with clients and teams.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing electric utility construction projects from start to finish.
  • Focusing on planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
  • Ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to client specifications.
  • Reviewing RFP, proposal, estimate, schedule, and all contract documents; arranging meetings; ensuring project crew has required vehicles, equipment, and tooling on-site.
  • Servicing the client; managing customer interaction; scheduling final project walk down with customers.
  • Conducting pre-construction meetings and attending ongoing project progress meetings; visiting the project site weekly for compliance and safety audits.

Requirements

  • An acceptable combination of education and/or work experience within the contractor industry (Electric Utility preferred) with Project Management Certification desired.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Project Management.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications with strong skills in Excel, Word, and MS Project.
