About the role

  • Leads & Drives Complex Packaging Projects with a significant focus on product packaging, manuals, and labels across the organization
  • Drive focus and delivery to project timelines and break complicated initiatives into actionable sub-projects
  • Summarize project for top level management reviews and summarize project progress to drive action from team members
  • Report business metrics and statistics on projects and track key KPIs (Project Status On Time, On Cost Measures, Capex Plans and Status, Project Resource Utilization / Spend per project)
  • Work closely with the Packaging Team and Engineering Excellence regarding projects that need higher-level discussion (stop, start, continue)
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (Strategic Planning Leader, Platform COO, Vertical Leaders, Brand CEOs, Chief Engineers, Packaging Leader)
  • Develop and implement a performance management system that monitors success of manufacturing training programs and adjust as necessary
  • Own execution of projects under management and establish/lead key business rhythms to drive success

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10 years of experience in Product Development within Packaging or a relevant industry
  • Extensive project management and leadership experience particularly in Packaging
  • Personal experience running complex projects from beginning to end
  • Experience working across different cultures and time zones
  • Ability to travel globally as needed
  • Owns the execution of projects under management
  • Establishes / Leads key business rhythms to drive success
  • Comfortable speaking up as the neutral party to drive the best business outcome
  • Hybrid role requires to be on-site in Towson, MD three days a week
