About the role

  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of medium-to-large enterprise software projects using Agile and hybrid methodologies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, security, operations, and vendors) to meet scope, schedule, and quality targets.
  • Define project plans, milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies; track progress and escalate as needed.
  • Manage project finances including budgeting, forecasting, and change control.
  • Facilitate release planning, sprint ceremonies, and dependency management across programs.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet security, compliance, and testing requirements for payments and financial services.
  • Communicate status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders and senior leadership through reports and executive briefings.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Agile project management (Scrum, Kanban) delivering software or payments solutions.
  • 6+ years of experience leading cross-functional, enterprise software delivery projects including vendor and third-party integrators.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud-hosted application delivery (AWS, Azure) and cloud deployment considerations.
  • 5+ years of experience with security and compliance standards (PCI DSS, SOC 2, SOX) in financial services projects.
  • 4+ years of experience using project and issue tracking tools (Jira, Confluence) and MS Project for scheduling.
  • 4+ years of experience in project financials, budgeting, and forecasting with tools such as Excel and Adaptive Insights or Workday Planning.
  • 4+ years of equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.
  • PMP or PMI-ACP certification preferred.
  • SAFe Agilist certification or experience scaling Agile across programs preferred.
  • Direct experience implementing payments or fintech solutions (card processing, ACH/NACHA, ISO 20022) preferred.
  • Experience managing third-party vendor contracts, SLAs, and procurement activities preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in executive-level stakeholder communication and cross-functional leadership preferred.
