Responsibilities
Serve as the principal point of contact for all contractor-related activities under this IT program.
Oversee and manage all technical and business work to ensure quality, timeliness, and budget compliance.
Strategically direct IT support services for transportation projects, aligning with Volpe Center and partner agency objectives.
Manage overall program performance, including allocation of resources across multiple tasks.
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidance related to transportation systems and functions.
Facilitate communication and coordination with partner agencies such as the FAA and FRA.
Drive initiatives that advance transportation innovation and support the Volpe Center mission.
Requirements
Master’s degree in a business-related field, IT, or Engineering
Minimum of 15 years of program management experience in transportation systems programs
In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations applicable to transportation systems
Prior experience working with the US DOT Volpe Center or similar transportation-focused organizations
Strong leadership, strategic planning, and resource management skills
Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs, including budgeting, scheduling, and team coordination.
