Requirements
- 5-7 years of Employee Impact experience, ideally within HR for the retail sector or a similar industry.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field (e.g. Psychology, HR, Business) or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in EDI and respect for Truth and Reconciliation.
- Understanding of EDI best practices, Human Rights, Employment Equity legislation, and relevant legal principles.
- Post secondary training in Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) with additional education in Indigenous Cultural Training.
- Proven ability to build trust and relationships across all levels of the business.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to quickly understand business strategy and connect it to people strategy.
- Demonstrated coaching skills and experience in providing strategic guidance across all levels of leadership.
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to drive outcomes that support individuals, teams, and the business.
- Strong verbal and written communicator.
