About the role

  • Develop and manage the product mix for Bongo: from concept writing and briefing to final validation and launch.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Partnerships, Studio, Editorial, Content, Legal, etc.) to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.
  • Analyse product and category performance, market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Define and support product distribution strategies and rollout plans across channels.
  • Contribute to the overall marketing and brand strategy by translating consumer insights into new product ideas and initiatives.
  • Develop marketing and sales tools for internal and external use (product sheets, presentations, competitive analyses, product matrices, etc.).
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics and recommend improvements.
  • Conduct occasional field visits to retail partners to gain market insights and assess product visibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in product marketing, trade marketing, or category management — ideally within FMCG or consumer goods.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch and/or French.
  • A hands-on, proactive, and results-driven personality who takes ownership and can work independently.
  • Creative and out-of-the-box thinker who’s not afraid to take initiative and turn ideas into action.
  • Growth mindset and willingness to learn by doing in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong copywriting skills to craft engaging product content (titles, descriptions, etc.).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint).
  • A valid driver’s license is an advantage, as occasional retail visits are part of the role.
