About the role

  • Define and evolve the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with portfolio strategy, end-to-end workflows, and Ratings’ business goals.
  • Manage and develop a team of talented Product Owners, fostering a culture of empowerment, innovation, and accountability.
  • Lead large-scale agile delivery (SAFe), manage cross-team coordination, and ensure transparency across stakeholders.
  • Champion design thinking and user journey clarity to ensure features address real user needs and drive adoption.
  • Own and manage the program backlog: define Features, prioritize using WSJF, and ensure MVPs meet Definition of Ready (DoR).
  • Validate feature development against acceptance criteria and non-functional requirements; approve releases and support post-launch adoption.
  • Participate in system demos, actively gather feedback, communicate risks transparently, and continuously feed insights into future releases.
  • Drive ART readiness for PI Planning by coordinating across stakeholders including, Product Owners, technology, and Business Owners to align scope and objectives.
  • Ensure visibility and transparency through tools and forums (dashboards, PI tracking, demos) to communicate status, risks, and value delivered.
  • Lead trade-off decisions that balance client needs, architectural integrity, and business value.
  • Align teams on product goals and roadmap; promote shared accountability across functions and streams.
  • Coordinate cross-team dependencies, proactively escalating blockers and risks to ensure a “no-surprises” environment.
  • Partner with Product Enablement to support go-to-market and adoption strategies through training, communication, and change management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Technology, or related discipline.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in product management, program management, or business analysis.
  • 3+ years leading large-scale agile programs, platform strategy, or multi-team product delivery (SAFe experience a plus).
  • Proven success managing complex backlogs, roadmaps, and cross-functional delivery.
  • Experience defining and tracking KPIs such as NPS, adoption, time-to-value, and backlog health.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and future-state storytelling skills to influence stakeholders and build alignment.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, proactively manage risks, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Prior experience working in financial services or credit ratings industry (preferred).
  • Familiarity with end-to-end processes across analytics, risk, operations, and methodology within Ratings or similar domains (preferred).
  • Exposure to technology platforms, architecture principles, and enterprise integration patterns (preferred).
  • Experience with value stream mapping, process improvement, and user journey design (preferred).
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Aha!, and agile reporting dashboards (preferred).
