About the role

  • Provide technical support as an active member of the new product development program teams
  • Core team member for New Product Development Teams as assigned, providing data-based input to the project(s) to ensure a successful launch
  • Act as the voice of the Product Integration team, using VOC based methods to represent Mercury and OEM expectations
  • Communicate the impact of the program to OEM’s specific to installation/configuration/system
  • Responsible for completing integration project deliverables as outlined in Mercury’s product development processes
  • Provide detailed information regarding new product changes for incorporation into ACTION Presentations
  • Leverage data analytics to make strategic and tactical business decisions
  • Assist Product Application Engineers with the integration of marine propulsion systems, including new product updates, training and general installation support
  • Support product launches in preparation on partner vessels and event support

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Knowledge of marine engine, propulsion systems and electronic controls
  • Knowledge of marine industry and basic vessel design
  • Able and willing to perform in vessel testing and setup, along with trouble shooting and repairs
  • Basic Project Management Skills
