About the role

  • Manage procurement requests in line with the Simply Business procurement policy
  • Support day-to-day procurement tasks across various business categories
  • Maintain and manage the contract database and supplier-related records
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms directly with suppliers under guidance
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the business

Requirements

  • Commercially-minded and isn’t afraid to challenge suppliers
  • Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and suppliers
  • Able to operate independently and as part of a team
  • Experienced in using procurement systems (e.g. SAP)
  • Able to prioritise a sometimes significant workload
