Responsibilities
Oversee character animation and integration, and set up procedural animation systems.
Identify potential animation issues, research new technologies, and develop solutions.
Investigate, diagnose, and resolve animation bugs across the game's systems.
Optimize character skeletons and animation assets to ensure optimal memory usage and frame-rate performance without compromising visual quality.
Share knowledge with animators and programmers and produce technical documentation.
Requirements
Minimum 12 years of animation experience in the video game industry
Strong technical skills in rigging and skinning, with a solid understanding of animation principles
Proficiency in Maya and Unreal Engine
Experience with multiplayer games
Knowledge of MEL and Python is a plus
