About the role

  • Assist the DGIG project portfolio manager by providing subject matter expertise and support
  • Coordinate and mentor a group of seasoned professionals
  • Analyze and/or make recommendations on budgets, estimates, projections and other financial parameters of projects
  • Analyze processes and recommend ways to simplify and automate them
  • Help create performance and budget governance indicators and develop methodologies for risk management, capacity management and project benefit management
  • Interact with many contributors working in fields like finance, risks and delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, finance or a related field
  • A minimum of eight years of experience in actuarial services or finance
  • Experience in portfolio management, project management and/or project control
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
  • Proficiency in Jira, Power BI, OPMI and Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of project and portfolio risk management
  • Knowledge of cost estimate methodologies
  • Action oriented, Customer Focus, Decision quality, Differences, Nimble learning, Organizational savvy, Strategic mindset
