About the role
- Operations Associate in a tech delivery startup handling operational tasks and supporting vendors, riders, and agents. Ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first line of response for requests in your assigned zone, routing issues to the right owners when needed.
- Monitor dashboards and communication channels to quickly identify, prioritize and respond to operational issues in your assigned zone.
- Support the operational readiness and performance of riders, vendors and agents through onboarding, training, scheduling and routine checks.
- Manage order exceptions and escalations to ensure timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders.
- Handle routine operational queries and issues, escalating sensitive or priority matters to the Assistant Zonal Manager.
- Coordinate operational resources and assets in partnership with zonal leadership.
- Work closely with the Assistant Zonal Manager to bring up improvement opportunities and support their implementation
Requirements
- Graduated with a 1st class or 2:1 from a reputable university.
- Are hungry, competitive, and willing to put in the long hours needed to succeed in a high-growth startup.
- Have strong problem-solving skills and can think quickly on your feet.
- Are highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks at once.
- Communicate clearly and confidently, whether with teammates, agents, riders, or vendors.
- Have a great attitude, willingness to learn, and resilience to keep going when things get tough.
- Have a track record of excellence beyond academics
