About the role
- Yuppiechef's Merchandise Planning Manager leading strategic direction and execution of merchandise plans while collaborating with multiple teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning team ensuring development and execution of effective merchandise plans
- Shape the strategic direction of merchandise planning efforts
- Drive forward processes and product portfolio's performance
- Collaborate with Buying team, Marketing team and external Suppliers
Requirements
- At least 10 years of retail planning experience
- A minimum of 3 years experience in successfully managing planners
- Exemplary numerical and analytical skills with the ability to logically scenario plan from the data provided
- Highly comfortable working across numerous computer based programmes as well as building your own databases in Excel
- Strong understanding of business finance terminology and metrics
- Understanding of how retail metrics are influenced by decisions taken by a Planning function
- Experience in retail / e-commerce and a passion for the products we sell is clearly beneficial
- Experience in special projects and process development.
