About the role

  • Lead the planning team ensuring development and execution of effective merchandise plans
  • Shape the strategic direction of merchandise planning efforts
  • Drive forward processes and product portfolio's performance
  • Collaborate with Buying team, Marketing team and external Suppliers

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of retail planning experience
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in successfully managing planners
  • Exemplary numerical and analytical skills with the ability to logically scenario plan from the data provided
  • Highly comfortable working across numerous computer based programmes as well as building your own databases in Excel
  • Strong understanding of business finance terminology and metrics
  • Understanding of how retail metrics are influenced by decisions taken by a Planning function
  • Experience in retail / e-commerce and a passion for the products we sell is clearly beneficial
  • Experience in special projects and process development.
