About the role

  • Office and Employee Experience Manager for Stepful, enhancing employee experiences and managing office operations in New York City. Engaging initiatives and efficient facility management ensuring success and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure our office is a well-maintained, safe, and productive workspace. Oversee office maintenance, liaise with building management and external vendors, and manage supplies and equipment.
  • Partner with People Operations and Talent Acquisition to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires. Prepare workstations, coordinate office tours, and support orientation logistics to set new employees up for success.
  • Support in-office IT needs, including employee device setup and troubleshooting. Partner with our third-party IT provider to manage hardware, software, and network-related requests efficiently.
  • Enhance workplace culture by coordinating office events, team-building activities, and engagement initiatives. Be a go-to resource for employees to help improve their day-to-day office experience.
  • Maintain an organized, high-functioning office environment by handling administrative tasks such as scheduling, office supply inventory, and vendor coordination.

Requirements

  • Experience in office management, employee experience, workplace operations, or a related role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a hospitality mindset in delivering outstanding experiences for employees and guests.
  • Ability to proactively identify and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic technical proficiency, with the ability to troubleshoot common IT issues and coordinate with external IT providers.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Bonus points if you have previous experience in EdTech or HealthTech
